About Kristin Couch
KC ART is more than a portfolio. It’s a home for my art.
KC Art is a Stockholm-based digital art brand by Icelandic artist Kristin Couch, creating surreal, abstract and emotionally expressive artworks rooted in emotion, symbolism and inner worlds.
I’m Kristin Couch, the artist and storyteller behind KC Art.
My art begins in the in-between — between dreams and waking, between memory and imagination. I’m drawn to the faces we wear and the ones we hide, to creatures of myth and spirit, and to the quiet beauty found in everyday wonder.
Much of my work explores feminine forms and inner worlds, shaped by surreal colors, layered details and unexpected symbolism. I often return to themes such as fairy tales, animals, emotional landscapes and the connection between what is visible and what is felt.
For me, art has never only been about decoration. It is about creating a moment — something that makes you stop, feel, remember, wonder, or recognize something within yourself.
KC Art was created as a space for this world to live and grow. A place where imagination, emotion and visual storytelling come together through digital art.
Although my work is primarily digital today, my background includes acrylics, mixed media, paper and collage techniques. That foundation still influences how I create: through layers, contrast, texture, feeling and intuition.
Discovering digital art opened a new creative world for me. It gave me the freedom to build atmospheres, characters, symbols and emotional landscapes without limits.
Each artwork is created to bring emotion, atmosphere and identity into a space — not simply to decorate it.
KC Art works with private collectors, interiors, hotels, wellness spaces and curated environments looking for artwork that feels personal, expressive and meaningful.
Over the past years, my work has been acquired by collectors internationally and shown through exhibitions and gallery collaborations.
The Vision
The vision for KC Art is to create artwork that feels alive within a space — pieces that bring presence, emotion, curiosity and a sense of story.
Not just art for the wall.
Art that becomes part of the atmosphere.
Art that feels like it belongs.
