My Story

Art from the space between dreams and reality

I’m Kristin Couch, the independent digital mixed-media artist and storyteller behind KC Art, based in Stockholm, Sweden.

My art begins in the in-between — between dreams and waking, memory and imagination, and what is visible and what is felt. I’m drawn to feminine forms, the faces we wear and the ones we hide, creatures of myth and spirit, and the quiet beauty found in everyday wonder.

Although my work is primarily digital today, my creative background includes acrylics, mixed media, paper and collage. That foundation continues to shape the way I work — through layers, contrast, texture, feeling and intuition.

Discovering digital art opened an entirely new creative world for me. It gave me the freedom to build characters, atmospheres and emotional landscapes without limits.

The Purpose Behind the Work

Created to be felt

For me, art has never only been about decoration. It is about creating a moment — something that makes you stop, feel, remember, wonder or recognize something within yourself.

Each artwork is created to bring emotion, atmosphere and identity into a space. KC Art works with private collectors, interior designers and other interior professionals, hotels, wellness spaces and commercial environments seeking distinctive, story-driven art.

My work has been acquired by collectors internationally and presented through exhibitions and gallery collaborations.
