Twelve Works, One Year
Looking back at a year of creative work is never about counting pieces.
It’s about noticing patterns, pauses, and moments that shaped the process.
Over the past year, I’ve created many artworks — some emerging quickly and intuitively, others taking time to unfold. Each piece belongs to a specific moment, shaped by what was present at the time: thoughts, emotions, questions, or quiet shifts.
Recently, I chose ten artworks from this past year.
Not because they are the most recent or the most visible, but because they carry something essential. Together, they reflect a year of movement — between softness and strength, stillness and expression.
Each artwork stands on its own, yet when viewed together, they begin to speak to one another. Colors echo. Expressions repeat or resist. Themes return, altered slightly, as if seen from another angle.
I don’t believe artworks need to be explained fully.
What matters most is what happens when someone stands in front of them — what they recognize, feel, or take with them. These ten works are an invitation to look slowly, without urgency or expectation.
This selection marks a pause rather than a conclusion.
A way of acknowledging where the work has been, before it continues forward.
